Have you ever turned to the passage that part of your Bible Lesson was from, flipping pages back and forth, only to then have to scan the page to find the exact verse to start at? Then you squint your eyes to read the fine print.Try this: Print out the passage ahead of time in a larger font. Print it on paper that will fit inside the pages of your Bible. (Or cut it to size – after you print it.) When it is time to read, flip right to the page with the paper and read off the paper instead of the page.
Why not just read off the paper and leave your Bible on the table? To demonstrate to the children that what you are reading is from the Bible.
