Family Matters

It seems that every study I have ever seen on student performance and family has shown that the students that do best are those whose parents are the most involved in their education. So why not get the parents of your club, Sunday school or other children's program involved? You could:

Invite them to sit in on a session.
If they are a believer, ask them to come and give their testimony to the children. (Be sure they know how much time you have allotted to them.)
Send letters home periodically to keep the parents up to date with what you are doing. Include something for the parent to do with the child to help the child complete an assignment or project.
