E-Missions
Part One - Mail
One of the big reasons I originally got an Internet account was to be able
to correspond with missionaries who had e-mail. You can encourage children
do the same.
- Find out which missionaries your church supports have e-mail addresses.
(If you have none, check out Child
Evangelism Fellowship which has both overseas and home missionaries with
e-mail addresses.) Have the children each choose a missionary to message.
- Be sure to suggest some things for the children to ask their missionary.
(Ask about their ministry, their country, their family, etc.)
Note: You will probably have children that do not have e-mail
capabilities at home. Why not invite them over to send their messages from
your computer? When you get a response, print out the message for the child.
