Encouraging Words

A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
and a word spoken in due season, how good it is!

Proverbs 15:23 (NKJV)

Your demeanor sets the tone for the whole class and for each child. An enthusiastic "Great!," "Way to Go!," "Very Good!," for something done well or even a hearty "Good Try!" for a wrong answer can encourage the children and let them know that you are on their side.

The children will remember these words long after the content of the lesson is forgotten. Hopefully they will remember them as the Savior's love expressed through a teacher's approval. What a difference it will make!
